Mobi The Day He Asked Again: Sweet Contemporary Romance (Hawthorne Harbor Romance Book 6) with FREE PDF EDITION!

I've been reading some heavier subjects lately and this book was the perfect respite. I don't care for short books. This book, at 219 pages, was perfect for what I was looking for. Long enough to flesh out the story and the characters but not so long that the story became tedious or boring. Dave Reddington was great (I may have a new book crush). I also liked Brooklyn. She had some issues she needed to work through. Three years, honestly, seemed a little long to me (more like a pity party than actual grief), but I haven't experienced what she did, so it's unfair of me to say. One line in the book made me like her a great deal less than I had. Dave was working on something and she wanted to go out, so she cajoled him into taking her out. That by itself wouldn't have bothered me but the very next line was "she liked that she could get him to do what she wanted, when he just wanted to stay home." I really dislike that attitude in girls of any age. In my opinion a healthy relationship is not about one person having control over the other. Other than that one line, I liked the book. I also thought the writing was excellent.
